Who can join

You must be 18 or older to use Rende. Every pilot profile is reviewed by a person before it can enter a round. That helps us run a thoughtful pilot, but it is not a background check and it is not a guarantee of anyone's identity, intentions, or behavior.

What stays private

Your profile is shown only to people in a compatible Rende shortlist. Shortlists, rankings, passes, and match rationale are private: other members never see who ranked or passed on them. We do not show precise home addresses, public popularity scores, or profile-view counts.

A Rende is not an open messaging system. Personal contact information stays private until both people independently choose “Yes, introduce us.”

Reporting and blocking

You can report a profile or block a person from within Rende. Blocks prevent that person from appearing in your shortlist or pairing eligibility. Reports are private and reviewed by the Rende team; they are not shown to the person you reported. For help with a report, email team@rende-gft.madethis.app.

Your data, kept to the point

We collect the information needed to run the pilot: your account, profile, round participation, private choices, mutual-confirmation response, and safety reports or blocks. We do not need or request your precise address.

We keep account and profile information while your account is active, plus limited records needed to run rounds, prevent repeat pairings, handle safety issues, and meet legal obligations. We aim to remove or de-identify information that is no longer needed for those purposes.

To request account deletion or ask about your data, email team@rende-gft.madethis.app with “Account deletion request” in the subject line. We'll confirm the request and explain any limited records we need to retain for safety or legal reasons.

If you choose to meet

Keep the first plan simple: meet in a public place, choose your own way there and home, tell someone you trust where you'll be, and leave if anything feels off. Take your time before sharing personal details, and trust your judgment without needing a “good enough” reason.
